I was skeptical about these and my vet says they don't work but now I wonder if he said that because he wants to sell me the poison..🤔.
They are working so far and I am very happy about that! My furkids have no fleas and no ticks and I am pleased as punch!
So far, so good with this bio pet tag any fleas or chicks on my cat who does go outside, so I would recommend it!
I love the ease - it last a year- so much cheaper and safer for Ruby.
Our dog is no longer waking up from a nap to scratch his head or bite at his legs or torso. We’re impressed and relieved that we won’t need to add an insecticide chew to his diet.
The so soothing tag is taking longer than I expected to work completely. The flea tick and mosquito tag took a full 4 weeks to work for my dog ( she is a 6 lb yorkie) I am assuming it will take that long with this one. The spray helps and I am glad to not be putting chemicals on and in my dog! That is an absolute 10 + in my opinion. I would recommend this product ! But you definitely need to purchase the spray that goes with it!
I like the option of no chemicals going into my dog and none on my dog. She is still itching but we have about another week to let the tag accumulate! 😃 it works pretty good with the so soothing spray! I need to give it another good week. The flea mosquito and tick tag took 4 solid weeks to start working! So I’m guessing it will be the same for this one!
It’s been over 3 weeks since my lab started wearing the shield. For the most part I believe it works very well; however, I’ve had to remove an adult tick climbing on her ear a week ago and a seed tick on her eyelid which just happened today. She wears the shield everyday but I remove it when I have to run an errand and lay the collar right next to her until I return and then place it back on her
Shocked that my dog will actually eat these like a treat! I did start these in the late spring when the peak tick season was winding down so since she will be on them for a couple months before ticks ramp back up in the fall I feel she will have a good defense built up and be ready, we will see, but I have not seen any ticks on her at all this summer which is a good sign since they are still out there. I also use these in combo with the Biopower pet pendant.
I have to say they do work somewhat. I use them for flies and when everyone had theirs on themselves, they seemed to work. The bad part is I braided them into their manes and they didn’t stay. One lasted a day, one a week and the other two were gone in the first month. My complaint isn’t as much in the effectiveness of the tag itself but the practically of how to keep it on the horses. They lose fly masks, their braids come out, halters are too dangerous to keep on 24/7. I also got the stall tags and the flies have come back with a vengeance. I am willing to try again with some feedback, it just doesn’t work for my barn setup.
Love his tag - took a couple weeks, but works like a charm. My little guy (20lb mini-aussie) takes the monthly pill for heart worm and it will stop any fleas from breeding - but they still get on him and make him itch, so wanted something to stop that. This works great! and no yucky chemicals to hurt him, me or the environment. Thank you!
My dog is not usually afraid of anything but is so scared of fireworks & thunder. I tried the spray several times but did not see any results. Sorry, I really wanted this to work.
I purchased four tags, one for each of my horse’s stalls. Initially they seemed to work but it was too early (only about a week) to say the tags are effective. One interesting note is that my QH stopped eating all his mash which never happens because he lives to eat. We surmised that it had something to do with the tag, which I had attached behind the feed bucket since the flies were the worst there. He went several days without touching his mash but would eat it from a separate bucket (not near the tag.) Yesterday I adjusted the stall tag and put it below the bucket and he ate all of his mash. I don’t know if there is a frequency that he is sensitive to but the tag and its location was the only change in his feed routine. Hoping for increasingly positive results in the next two weeks or so for all four stalls.
Lupita has been wearing her tag for about 3 weeks. I made a special necklace for her due to her treache issues. Since it has only been just over three weeks. I use the spray when we go to the park. She has been hitchhiker free. We are both happy with Pet Shield.
My 3 dogs love the chews. The chews work great, along with the pet shield tag. Its time to order more!
Our 14 month old dog looks forward to these every morning. Between the chews and a pendant he wears, there are no bites or anything that I’ve seen. I also use essential oils sometimes but mostly the pendant and the chews
It’s been a month now and I haven’t seen one tick on either of my two dogs prior to that I found two on one dog and three on the other so far so good highly recommend!!!
NYX has been wearing her tag since June 16th. We have not seen any fleas or ticks on her, nor have we seen flies or mosquitos landing on her. We are impressed and grateful.
Our dog cannot take any pet medicine because he is very sensitive. This has worked great with only finding an occasional tick.
We take these along with bio shield and it drastically cut down on fleas and ticks. We still find an occasional tick but nothings perfect. Definitely worth the money especially if you have a sensitive dog!!!
I ordered 4 tags for my four horses. One horse lost the tag within a couple of days (BioPower would it be possible to make the tags a bright color so we could possibly see them in the field, being black, it’s impossible) the other three though seem to have considerably less flies on them.
My only hesitation with reordering for the mare that lost her tag day 3 or 4 is that she rubs her mane and tail, and I know she’ll rub the tag right out. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
