• The amount of time the pet spends outdoors - if the pet lives outside most or all of the time it makes it more challenging to keep pests away, again depending to a large extent on the local environment.
• The health of the pet - the less healthy the animal the more pests will be attracted to it, so please be aware that a pet with a chronic health condition or an older pet will be more susceptible to pests. Feeding your pet a healthy diet high in animal protein will help maximize its health and vitality and is part of a holistic pest control strategy.
