Natural Fly Repellent System for Horses

If you’ve ever watched your horse stomp, swish, and shake their way through a fly-heavy afternoon, you know the problem isn’t just inconvenient — it’s stressful. Chemical fly sprays, pesticide-laden fly sheets, and synthetic repellents that you apply by the bucketful and still have to reapply constantly. There has to be a better way.

There is. Meet the BioPower Pet Horse Shield Kit, a unique combination of a tag that clips to your horses halter and a feed-through pellet supplement that you give daily. Both contain our proprietary pest-repellent frequency technology that makes your horse unattractive to flies, mosquitos, and ticks.

The Horse Shield Tag clips directly onto your horse’s halter, bridle, or blanket - or even braid it into their mane or tail. It utilizes our proprietary bioresonance frequency technology to emit energetic frequencies that disrupt the nervous system of pests — making your horse a place pests simply don’t want to be. No chemicals. No residue. No constant reapplication. Just clip it on and let it work.

The Horse Shield Pellets are a tasty supplement treat that you give your pet once daily to reinforce the tag from the inside out. They are made of completely natural ingredients with pest repellent properties such as brewer’s yeast, garlic, apple cider vinegar, and B vitamins - all of which have other health benefits as well! But the real magic of the pellets is the same pest repellent frequencies contained in the tag.

It’s the same bioresonance frequency technology that powers our Pet Shield tag for dogs and cats, with over 1 million sold worldwide, now calibrated and optimized for equine pest prevention.

The tag is lightweight, waterproof, and built tough enough for barn life, trail rides, and everything in between. Replace it once a year to maintain full-strength protection through every season. The pellets are as easy as one scoop a day with the feed, and are tasty enough to be considered a treat by most horses.

At BioPower Pet, we believe your horse deserves the same clean, thoughtful care you’d give any family member. The Horse Shield Kit is part of our proprietary Shield System™ — 100% chemical-free, safe for daily wear, and kind to the environment. Because a healthy horse is a happy horse, and they shouldn’t need a chemical bath to prove it.

Natural protection, from halter to pasture.

And here’s our promise to you: every BioPower Pet product — including the Horse Shield Kit — is backed by a 60-day money-back guarantee. If you’re not completely satisfied, we’ll make it right — no questions asked. Try it risk-free and see the difference for yourself.

Pro tip: For maximum coverage — especially for horses who spend a significant amount of time indoors — pair the Horse Shield Kit with the Horse Stall Tag. The Horse Shield Kit protects your horse directly; the Stall Tag creates a pest-deterrent field throughout their resting space. Together, the Horse Shield Kit and Stall Tag make up the complete Horse Shield System — covering your horse on the move and at rest.

FAQ: Can I use the tag without the pellets or the pellets without the tag?

Yes, either the tag or the pellets may be used on their own, and for some horses that may be enough. It depends mainly on the conditions in which your horse lives - the climate in your area, the time of year, the cleanliness of the barn, the severity of the season, and even the health of your horse - they all play a role in determining how hard it is to keep pests away. In most situations is it better to be safe and use them both, as that provides maximum protection. In more northern climates when winter comes it is fine to discontinue feeding the pellets until spring.

Ingredients & Instructions for Horse Shield Pellets:

Active Ingredients: Brewer's Yeast, Garlic, Grape Seed Extract, B Vitamin Complex (Thiamine, Niacin, Riboflavin, Pantothenic Acid, Pyridoxine, Biotin, Folic Acid, Vitamin B12). Inactive Ingredients: Alfalfa Meal, Fenugreek Seed Powder, Lignin Sulfonate, Vanilla Flavor, Sodium Propionate, Soybean Oil, Sunflower Seed Meal.

Feeding Instructions: Feed once daily. Administer one scoop (32 grams) daily per 1,000 pounds of body weight. Ideally give the pellets with other feed to minimize the chance of digestive upset, especially for horses with sensitive stomachs. Most horses consider them a tasty treat.
