Natural Fly Repellent Supplement for Horses
The BioPower Pet Horse Shield Pellets offer powerful protection to keep your horse free from flies, mosquitos, and ticks without the use of harmful chemicals and pesticides. Simply add one small scoop to your horse's feed daily to create a strong repellent effect coming from the inside out that will keep the pests away.
This feed-through equine supplement consists of tasty pellets made of only natural ingredients that include an array of B vitamins, garlic, apple cider vinegar, and grape seed extract - all of which are known to make horses less attractive to pests. On top of that the pellets contain our proprietary bioresonance energy which emits frequencies into your pet's biofield that disrupts the nervous system of the pests - giving them even more reason to stay away.
The pellets may be used alone, but for maximum protection should be combined with the Horse Shield Tag that attaches to your horse's collar or mane - together known as the Horse Shield System. The tag offers an additional layer of the disrupting bioresonance frequencies, which in most environments will be needed for complete protection.
NOTE: This page is for the pellets alone, mainly to be ordered to replenish as needed. The complete Pet Shield System that includes the tag can be found here.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Isn't garlic toxic to horses?
Garlic can be toxic to horses in large amounts, but a small dose on a daily basis is actually quite good for their health! The pellets are veterinarian formulated to have just the right amount of garlic to help repel pests and to support immune, heart, and digestive health.
-
Can I use the Horse Shield Pellets without the Horse Shield Tag?
Yes, either the tag or the pellets may be used on their own, and for some horses that may be enough. It depends mainly on the conditions in which your horse lives - the climate in your area, the time of year, the cleanliness of the barn, the severity of the season, and even the health of your horse - they all play a role in determining how hard it is to keep pests away. In most situations is it better to be safe and use them both, as that provides maximum protection. In more northern climates when winter comes it is often possible to discontinue feeding the pellets until spring. The complete Horse Shield System that includes both can be found here.
-
Are the chews safe for foals?
Yes, the chews are safe for horses of all ages and breeds, from young to old. Just follow the feeding instructions based on the weight of the horse. Safety for pregnant and nursing horses has not been tested, but there is no reason why they should pose any risk.
-
How are the pellets different from fly sprays or sheets?
Unlike conventional fly sprays and sheets, the Horse Shield pellets are completely natural and do not rely on chemical pesticides, nor do they require spraying or complicated maintenance. They work from the inside out, and most importantly they contain our proprietary bioresonance frequencies to add to the repellency of the ingredients alone.
-
Can I use the pellets along with other fly protection?
There is no issue with using them alongside other pest repellent approaches, although if combined with the Horse Shield Tag this will hopefully be unnecessary. But because they are completely natural, combining them with other sprays, fly sheets, and even conventional pesticide is no problem.
-
How often will I need to reorder them?
This depends on the size of your horse, the prevalence of flies in your area, and the time of year. For a 1000 pound horse in a typical environment one scoop per day should be sufficient, meaning the bag would last about two months.
